Sean Cantorna – Vocals/ 12 String Guitar/ Ukelele

Sean began his career at a talent show in college. His first ever appearance in front of a crowd, Sean delivered a stirring rendition of “American Pie” which, to his surprise, brought the entire auditorium to their feet and landed him on the front page of the school newspaper. (see PHOTOS/VIDEO tab) After his graduation, Sean fulfilled a lifetime dream and moved to Spain. It was there that he honed his skills in local ‘tavernas’ and gained much of the Latin influences that he still incorporates today. Back in Chicago, Sean has spent the last ten years playing popular Chicago venues, corporate events, and private parties as a solo or duo acoustic act. During this time Sean also lent his voice to various commercial jingles for companies such as Oldsmobile. From 2000-2004, Sean toured throughout the country as the lead singer for a nationally known Dave Matthews cover band. With the band he had the opportunity to play and sing with Brett Michaels and Bobby Dall from Poison and bass player Stu Cook from Creedence Clearwater Revival.  More recently, Blend Electric took the stage with Todd Park Mohr, from Big Head Todd & The Monsters.  Sean resides in Indian Head Park with his wife and 3 kids, and is a full time ESL (English Second Language) teacher.

Wes John Cichosz – Vocals/Guitar/Saxophone

Wes began studying guitar with his father, who was a professional guitarist, at age seven. Around the same time, he began learning classical clarinet. In high school and college, tenor and soprano saxophones became co-focus with guitar. At the University of Illinois at Chicago, Wes received a full scholarship and won the Bar Association Performance Award his first year. He went on tour, recorded, and played with numerous national acts on both sax and guitar, including the Grammy nominated Studebaker John and the Hawks. In 1996, Wes founded Fatbaby Studios, in which he has recorded, produced and played for many Chicago acts. In his own group, the E-mics, he has distinguished himself as a singer/songwriter and released three CDs including the highly acclaimed “MASS” album. The E-mics have been one of the few house bands at The House of Blues Chicago for nearly three years, and can be seen there at least three times per month.  Wes resides in Oak Park with his wife and 2 kids.
